InsyleM
Does the US Army version of the Beech 55 have an avionics master switch? Me and the aircraft owner coudln't find it today after work. The Army calls it a T-42.
lnuss
If you have an actual T-42 to look at and can't find it, then it's likely there isn't such a switch. Or perhaps there were variations over time, some with and some without. Keep in mind, too, the vintage of the T-42 at a time when it was less likely to have such a thing. In any case, I've not seen one and didn't spot anything on the web that would quickly answer the question. Larry N. As Skylab would say: Remember: Aviation is NOT an exact Science! InsyleM
It's this aircraft http://www.trade-a-plane.com/detail/aircraft/Multi+Engine+Piston/1965/Beechcraft/T42A/2150551.html The owner has asked me to help him out with getting the radios working since I have avionics experience. The majority of my experience is military aircraft, and none of them that I've worked on have an avionics master switch. I only just recently (May of this year) started working on Beechcrafts. Thanks for the info.
