deejayp999
Just a plain vanilla install, no add-ons, with Acceleration pack?
W2DR
Absolutely! With a 64-bit OS FSX can use up to 4GB (2GB on 32-bit). But the OS itself and "other system stuff" also need RAM. You really need 8GB to keep from greatly degrading performance. The barebones FSX, OS, and "other system stuff" will exceed 4GB. pvarn
^^^ Agreed. Beyond 8 is money thrown at diminishing returns, but anything more than 4 is a benefit. -Pv- 2 carrot salad, 10.41 liter bucket, electric doorbell, 17 inch fan, 12X14, 85 Dbm
