noahweber Posted May 8, 2015 Share Posted May 8, 2015 Had fun posting my Twin Otter over PNG pic so here are a few more from a flight I did using the same plane with Aerosoft's Antarctica X scenery. This time I switched the REX textures to get a colder feel. (See here for comparison). Route was a sunrise flight from Base Marambio (SAWB) --> O'Higgins Skiway (AQ20) --> Teniente R. Marsh Martin (SCRM). 1) Early sunrise on departure from Base Marambio (SAWB): 2) An external view of the plane against the sunrise: 3) A different angle provides an interesting change of lighting: 4) A panoramic view shows off all the different sceneries and textures at work (REX, ORBX, Aerosoft, OpusFSI for weather): 5) A few snowy hills are visible from the flight deck on approach to O'Higgins Skiway: 6) Landing with the skis down at O'Higgins: 7) The sun continues to rise as we takeoff again towards SCRM: 8) Some sinister clouds begin to form as we approach our destination: 9) My inability to find the windshield heat switch suddenly creates a serious situation: 10) A view from the outside confirms there is no seeing through the frost 11) After a few tense minutes, the windshield is thawed and the plane gets back on solid ground. I'm pretty pleased considering this is the first day I've ever messed around with screenshots. Looks like I've found a little hobby within my favorite hobby...
