beroun
Hi all, Just when I thought I know everything about the gauges and even after designing some, have come across this: Have installed IL62 wiper to my VC10 panel - looks great but when switching the wiper on it moves into the panel (see pictures - red arrows). "gauge102=IL62M_gauges!Wipers_Screen, 118,21,440,240" I need the wiper to disappear behind the panel! I tried all kinds of zorder= and draw_order= options to no avail. Any clue would be greatly appreciated. Understand that not flying in the rain could be the option Cheers, Peter Bendl ex. British Airways
Tom Gibson
How does it work in the IL62? Does it actually drop down behind the main panel when it moves?
Tom Gibson
The only way I can think offhand of how to fix this would be to make a gauge with that area of the panel background displayed, and sequence it after the wiper gauge. If there are any other gauges there, they would have to be sequenced after the panel background and wiper gauges.
beroun
Thanks Tom, As suggested tried IL62 and sure enough the wiper shows correctly disappearing behind the panel. (see picture). So have checked IL62 panel.cfg and it is in a different window above the panel (00) called Windscreen - so the mystery is solved. Will move all the windows down and create 00 with the wiper only. As always, many thanks for pointing me in a right direction. Much appreciated. Peter Bendl ex. British Airways
Tom Gibson
Glad to help, I should have thought of that solution too.
