kmaultsby Posted January 24 Share Posted January 24 Hello all. I am getting back into flight-sim after years of inactivity. I had an X-Plane 11 and just purchased X-Plane 12. The equipment I own is Saitek Yoke, Rudder, and throtlle. I will only use it for general aviation aircraft like Cessna 170, 180, 210, etc, and maybe Piper Archer and M310. I would like some suggestions on purchasing Avionics equipment. I was considering purchasing RealSims GNS 430 or 530 and maybe GMA350 AUDIO 300 to use with Comms with Pilotedge and Foreflight to add some realism. Is this a good idea or does using the mouse work ok? If I go with Realsim, what is the advantage \ disadvantage between 430 and 530 besides size?
