I got an advice from a smart guy for a workaround.
You have to redirect the access of www.3dsoftworks.net to your localhost.

You have to open notepad as Administrator and edit the file
C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and add the line:

127.0.0.1    www.3dsoftworks.net

Use it on your own risk

Sorry, i know what notepad is i have found C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. When i add  127.0.0.1    www.3dsoftworks.net i can not save it. It says i need administrator privileges. I am the administrator.

Win key (keyboard besides "CNTRL")

enter Editor or notepad,

Right Click "as Administrator".
then saving is possible

Thanks for your time and effort. Doesn't work for me. Not a big deal. I can live without FSRealtime. Cheers

I can edit the host file, just won't let me save it. I have to change the file name and save it to documents. That is my only option.

Try to start FSrealtime without Internet connexion. For me works, then you start your Internet and FSrealtime continue without problem!

Same here.

I have some older versions if anyone needs them.

I would be interested in an older version. I would like to see if any other one will start without having to turn off internet first I keep forgetting to do that

Works without internet connexion 🙃  In fact not change anything only start FSRealTime without internet connexion, then start your internet connexion and no problem.

Thank you for sharing this post. It works perfectly and I am really pleased that there was a way around the problem with FS Realtime.  Flying without FS Realtime is not really an option and this was very simple but effective fix.

Older versions are available on Simviation, but may have the same problem.
