Flight Nav

Hello...Haven't used msfs since 2002 version.my son is interested in learning to use flight sim.I used to use a downloaded program FS Nav to chelp navigate. Is this kind of program still available and used.Im thinking of getting him the 2022 version.i have a decent gaming PC and will be purchasing the yoke/throttle and pedals..I remember the downloads made the experience much more enjoyable..I've been out for so long I'm just looking for some help/ advice to help him catch the bug that I did 20 yrs ago. Any help is much appreciated and thank you.
