Asobo/Inibuilds A310 Nav Data?

Recommended Posts

I am having an issue with the navigation data for this aircraft.  Most airports I fly to, the approaches in the FMC are the same as what I find in Navigraph.  But at Glasgow airport, EGPF, the ILS approaches for Rwy 5 and 23 are completely different from the published ones.

Where does this aircraft store the navigation data?  I've looked all over.  I want to try to update it with the correct data from Navigraph

Thanks!

Navigraph don't provide data for the A310 FMC, it uses the default World Map data which CAN be updated with a Navigraph subscription.

Thanks Tim.  I actually suspected that.  I have the Navigraph Hub software that I use to regularly update the main program as well as some payware planes like PMDG, etc.  What I don't understand, then, is why does the approach data for EGPF continue to be entirely wrong?  All other payware planes that use Navigraph data have these EGPF approaches correct.    I have everything updated to the latest cycle, but these approaches in the A310 are absolutely not the same as what every other source shows to be current.

I don't own the A310 but a quick search of the MSFS official forums brought up this link to the Inibuilds A310 forum & FAQ's page:

https://forum.inibuilds.com/forum/270-faqs/

This includes information on how to import Simbrief flight plans into the A310 FMC, which might fix your EGPF approaches.

I am already loading Simbrief plans with no issue.  But I still have to select Runways, SIDs, STARs, and Approaches via the FMS.  It is so weird that it is only this plane that has these approaches messed up, when the data is the same as that used by other planes and the program itself.  I honestly don't even begin to understand what's going on here.  Other airports are fine, too.   So far, EGPF is the only airport where I have this issue.

Is it the default EGPF, a freeware mod, or a payware product? If it's the default, then the approaches should be fine and this could be an issue with the A310 itself.

Default EGPF.  I have discovered that the problem is really just one waypoint that is wrong, but it is WAY wrong, lol.  I am able to replace that one waypoint in the approach and all is well!

Thanks for your help, Tim.
