I have a second 'data' drive, so I moved the Steam Library to it.  The files are still deep, but not to the level of the default install.

I show my Steam folder is about 18GB.  If I wanted to move that out of the ProgramFiles86, I would just move that entire folder to another USB or the C:\ root?

Warning: Don’t use Windows to do this.

Steam has functions to create new libraries on other discs, and to move apps between them.

Use these functions to move FSX:SE.

got it!  Not moving anything yet.  If it works where it is, I'll leave it there. Thanks for the tip

Try here...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX

That is where it is on my PC, hope that helps.

Same location as mine.   Going to leave it there as long as it's happy there.
