How to "kick" over the engines on the TDS Boeing 787.

Hey guys,

So I'm having a problem with my 787. I pushed back from the gate at Chicago O'Hare preparing for a flight to Los Angeles. I hit the auto-starter and both of the engines begin to start, they get to the point where it sounds like they're almost about to kick over but they haven't yet. I clicked the engine switch to turn on both engines, but nothing happened. I clicked it again and again, and the engines wouldn't "kick over". I'm not used to the 787 cockpit, so I could definitely use some help.

Sincerely,

The Captain
