About Frank's MS Flight Sim

New channel begun in 2021. Visit notable airfields and areas in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS). Themes so far include: WW2; Bush/Mt./Water/Outback strips; “Golden Oldie” strips; heritage/vintage strips; and aircraft accident investigations. More different themes to come. Expect a new video roughly each week. Provides brief, interesting information, often with history, geography, maps, pictures etc, and great places to fly in MSFS. Focus is on interesting content rather than production values.

Nice recreation of a interesting event in aviation history.

Well done as always!

Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. And never be low on Fuel, Altitude, Airspeed, or Ideas.

Great news!

I'm seeing more and more flight schools buying battery powered trainers all the time.  In which case people living near or under designated practice areas suffer much less noise and air pollution than with internal combustion aircraft.  Plus with the FBO being able to change battery packs between training flights, the need for down time while recharging goes away.  So the training aircraft can be quickly readied for the next trainee.,

Soon I expect we'll see many FBOS switching out battery packs for battery fueled aircraft in transit.  Stop for your $150 hamburger and then fly the next leg of your trip with a fresh battery pack.

COOL!

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

While I totally agree with you, you either posted under the wrong thread or did not realise that “English Electric” is an old aircraft manufacturer company name and not a reference to the 1950s Canberra Jet Bomber being electrically operated! Cheers.

You are correct.  I just used Wikipedia and found out how varied a product line English Electric has or at least had at one time.  And that sure seems to be a sweet aircraft of its' era!!

Having said that, IMO battery powered trainers are the wave of affordable GA pilot training of the future.
