FSX Menu Bar

Running FSX in WIndows 11.

The ALT key will open the menu bar at the top of the screen but will not hide it.

The only way to hide it is to click on the screen for a menu and click on "hide menu" two times.

Is there any way to assign a key to hide it?  (The two times process is a nuisance.)

Running FSX in Windows 10 ALT will open the menu, and holding ALT down for a second or so will close the menu (slight difference).

Give that a try, unless yo already have.

Holding the ALT key down worked for me in Windows 7 and 10; but, it does not in Windows 11.

Good to know, I haven't read anything else for a fix. If find anything I'll post here.

I run Win 11 and FSX and the bar works normally.

If I hold either ALT key down, the bar does not close; but, after searching the net, I've found that holding both ALT keys down at the same time will close the bar.
