krosen
Appreciate advice on whether I should install SRTM West Asia in the main FSX scenery folder or the scenery folder in the addon scenery directory. TIA
jandjfrench
Hi krosen, In order to identify possible future scenery conflicts I recommend creating a scenery structure similar to what I use. As this scenery is an Asian mesh (or so it seems) I suggest creating a folder in the Addon scenery folder called Asia. Within this newly added folder I'd create another folder called Mesh and in this yet another called West. Add the new Scenery and Texture (if present) folders. Activate per the normal procedure. This sounds like extra work but having a structure similar to this not only prevents future conflicts but it enables you to selectively activate or deactivate the scenery to easily determine it's effects. alverthein
My experience has been the developer has instructions as to how to load the scenery into FSX...I would look for those instructions in your West Asia scenery download....

Jim F. This is a great idea. Clean and simple. I like it.
