ColR1948 Posted April 22, 2022 Share Posted April 22, 2022 I have been trying out the Wings of Power Avro Lancaster MKIII, engine sounds are fantastic, she has as real as can be proper performance, flies slow/faster at various altitudes, real fuel consumption etc. Col. ColR1948 Posted April 22, 2022 Author Share Posted April 22, 2022 They tried to make it as real as possible then it made me think how slow it was compared to fighter aircraft that they had to face, I know it had guns and it needed them as well, I only did a short flight and it took ages so thinking they had to fly over the channel, complete a mission and back must have been exhausting. Then there was the Grand slam version that only had a rear gunner, they reduced a lot of weight so it could carry a bigger bomb load from what I understand, (Dam Busters). Col.
