You could try reducing your ram speed slightly.. maybe to 3400 or 3200 and see if that helps.

There will be a setting in your bios for this.

Do you have anything in your community folder? If so, remove it all, reboot, and try to run without the addons. If that solves the issue, add back until you get a failure again.

Hi Steve

I am not technically advanced in computers but maybe you could answer a couple of questions about what may be causing crashes .....

1. Can loosing internet connection for 10 secds cause it

2. I replaced my ram with 2new sticks and a different brand and this fixed the issue but now 2 months later crashes again. HOW WOULD I KNOW IF IT IS BAD RAM OR BAD RAM SLOT on motherboard.????

3. Is my Power unit suffice for my system. 750 W

4. SSD card that MSFS is on

I'm pretty sure he cpu is not overheating cause I can run afterburner during MSFS and monitor usages

Thanks. John

Not all 750 W power supplies are the same. Some may have inflated power ratings due to rails that are not as useful to the system. I run with 750 W but it is a high quality unit.

Intermittent internet connection could corrupt the program which might cause problems??

Hi Johny,

I’m not saying your ram is bad. The standard clock speed for ram is 2400mhz. Although your ram can run at 3600 (& is advertised/sold for that speed, it is technically overclocking. Ram sticks can vary in tolerance, so 3600 could be close to that. I have had problems with CTDs a while back and found that simply dropping the speed a little made all the difference.

If you’re not familiar with the bios though it might be a little daunting. I have to go to work now & am a bit stuck for time but maybe someone else could help.

I think 750w should be fine for your system, providing it’s a good quality psu. Personally I’d have preferred more but you should be ok with that.

I would also check if you’ve any addons causing the problem, as Bob (Plainsman) suggested

Regards

Steve

My ram is actually running at 3100 according to CPUZ program. I will try to clear the community folder and see if it helps thanks

It sounds like it’s not your Ram that’s causing it then. Hopefully it’ll be an addon in your community folder. Much easier to fix if it is :)

Hi Steve so emptying the community folder fixed it. Now I have added 1 by 1 add-ons to see what may be the issue.

It seems that flybywire a320nx is ok until I add a livery to it then it crashes windows.

Any ideas other than not to use a livery.?

Thanks

Hi Johny,

I don’t have an answer I’m afraid, other than not using the livery. At least the CTDs were caused by a simple thing and not hardware etc.

When I put motor oil in the gas tank, the truck doesn't run well. Do you think installing an FM radio might fix it?
