Cessna Citation ~Europe~

Recommended Posts

Time to take this beauty into Europe! We fly out of Heathrow bound for France in some challenging weather to drop off some passengers before heading out once again to Ostend, Belgium.

Thanks for viewing!

Those pics were great. Especially the cumulous clouds. Those were some awesome clouds! As far as clouds go, anyway :) I wager they didn't do much for FPS though!

Thanx for a great post

Pat☺

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

Thanks very much Pat, actually to my surprise I don't get a huge drop n frames considering the detail, during heavy clouds just like the ones above I still get a consistent 20fps which for me, is perfectly flyable :)

Great stuff Phil! I absolutely love P3D and apart from my GPU I have the exact same system I had when I used FSX, it must be 6 years old now and it can run with far superior detail and smoothness than FSX - It's far more stable and is constantly being updated. I really can't see how X-Plane or Dovetail's new sim (when it eventually gets here, I don't mean FSX steam ed) can touch it but I would LOVE to be proven wrong some day :)

Stunning pics indeed, Steve....another job well done showing off P3D. I need to get to work in populating 2.5....after FS Passengers is updated for P3D. The developer will be working on a P3D version after he releases FSX/FSX-SE update, which will be soon.

Thanks Joe, I'm staying with 2.4 until there is a real noticeable upgrade option (probably 2.6 or 2.7). It's taken me a couple of weeks to re-install everything and finding that 'sweat spot' is the holy grail and takes quite a bit of time testing as us simmers know only too well. My philosophy at the moment is 'If ain't broke, don't fix it' :)

Understood. I don't have many addons to currently populate P3D, as I have been in the "wait and see mode" for future updates. I'm patient :) Besides, I'm still getting plenty of use out of FSX. Just updated FS Passengers to the latest version, which was released yesterday.
