Aircraft loads to half screen.

Hello:

Working on 04 xomer AN-2 Ski to FSXA

Updated textures ok, but loads to half screen.

Door pic is a just insert.

Cargo door opens but can't figger key command

ModelConverterX.exe for animation

or how/what to edit for it to work

.

Any help or even comments welcome.

I think its a panel problem...

Yep..its a panel problem.

Still can't get that cargo door to open.

Could use some suggestions.

Of course when I changed panels I lost all VR gauges.

The split screen issue is a panel issue.

 

As for the door, in MCX look for the Hierarchy Viewer...

 

...and confirm with the Animation Manager...

 

...Select None, then Select Name Containing "tailhook", then grab the slider and move it left and right.

I understand most of screenshots.

I can tell I have a older model

Assign animation type = No "tailhook"

I tried door2 but realized it has to be some kind of raise/lower action.

I did a search in my Flt Sim backup folder and discovered that "tailhook is a xml file.

Doesn't that have to be entered in one of the cfg files?

......time passes.....thinking....thinking...

AH-HA newer models of an2 have a"tailhook" entry in aircraft.cfg...and it opens the cargo door

Not so with my old version an2.

 

You see, you got me pointed in the right direction and like a blood hound I sniffed out the problem.

Now just for grins I have to copy/paste the tailhook data to old An2 aircraft.cfg....then what?
