How to not install Update VIII

Can anyone advise me how to not install update Beta VIII please. I don't want to get tangled up in bugs and crashes and reinstalls.

There is not any way to avoid any mandatory update. Just as a point of reference, I am still on my initial installation from the release inception. I have had very few problems. I can't speak to the Steam process??

According to this announcement by Asobo/MS, you're much less likely to need a reinstall if you're a Steam user.

 

Also, if you don't select the Beta in MSFS properties in your game library (as explained in that very webpage), I think you're not really undergoing any risk.

That's right - participation in the Beta program is voluntary, so if you just ignore it, it WILL go away.

if your worried about bugs don't install the beta wait for the (and laugh) the official release ...
