For those (like me) loving vintage aircraft, I've read that a new payware Grumman G21 Goose will be released in 2-3 weeks, in https://bigradials.com/ and https://orbxdirect.com/, by the same authors who provided us with the freeware version. A while later in the MS Marketplace as well.

Seemingly it is "an entirely new project, from the ground up, it shares absolutely nothing with the freeware" and will feature fixed floats (not retractable), but in exchange it will include:

"-High res 3D model, blablabla the usual

-Many, MANY cockpit and plane interactions: Anchor, ladder, all doors, windows, removable wheel hubs, etc..

-Era accurate cockpit and gauges

-Hidden control box, with a GPS.

-Fully functional circuit breakers

-Full suite of lights, interior and exterior

-Period accurate recognition lights set (amber, green, red independently switchable

-Vaccum flaps system (flaps operates of vacuum, cant overspeed them, the wind force automatically push them up past 95knots)

-Pro flightmodel, done by one of the best and most recognized guy out there

-Gyropilot Sperry A-3 (or A-6), fully recreated (as much as the sim allows)

-Weird and one of a kind swedish ski version included, with specific flightmodel and fx

-Full interior, front hull, cockpit, cabin, toilet

Im probably forgeting stuff."

Step by step, MSFS is gradually becoming the sim I had been expecting... :pilot:

Wow, I haven’t heard of that for a long time! I used to love that show :) Althogh I don’t think it ran for very long. Maybe just one or two series?

Guess I’m showing my age now LOL

Steve

Just checked my collection: only one season with 22 episodes. I wish they came out with a remastered version in blu-ray!! :D

And yes, Cutter's Goose livery from the show will seemingly be included in the release this time :pilot:
