smokin
Very recently purchase new Asus monitor, and using HDMI for the first time. Previous monitor was a DVI-I. Now I'm forced to turn off/on the monitor to scroll through the FSX menus and sub-menus. I also need to do the same after starting a flight. If I don't, I'm staring at a blank screen. Advice and opinion welcome.
mrzippy
Check in your FSX.cfg and in your FSX settings under Graphics to make sure your new Graphics card is recognized. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

Hello, same old graphics card, still listed correctly in the configuration. Monitor is new. Thank you.
f16jockey_2
When I switched monitors lately, I had problems with built-in HDR emulation. I found out that for FSX it's better switched off (or set to "application controlled"). Wim
smokin
Hello and thank you. Not sure I know where HDR emulation is adjusted, either in the Asus monitor menu, FSX, or NVidia inspector. Regards...
f16jockey_2
I have no idea either, but my monitor (a BenQ) it's in the monitor menu. Wim

Might be a different name in the Asus menu. Will check it out. Many thanks.
