"Path Too Long" Error?

​Several files that I have downloaded give me an installation error saying that the "path is too long"...Is there any cure for this? Thanks,

FWIW: I've cheated the system by extracting, not to Community, but to my Downloads folder itself, then simply moving the extracted folder into Community. It shouldn't work, should it? But it has for me.

Whenever I get a "Path too long..." error, I just move the zipped file from the Download folder to the root folder (C:\)

 

If that doesn't work, rename excessively large named zipped files to a single character (i.e., z.zip) before extracting.

Hi! I suggest to use Long Path Tool Software for solving this error. It has many great features like copying, deleting,renaming and unzipping long path files.
