mrzippy
It is acting weird this morning, as well as yesterday. I just posted a quick screenshot and it took a few minutes to do the attachment then after I hit post, it went into oblivion. I had to hit the page back arrow to bring it back to reality and see the post. Luckily only 1 post, not multiple. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! StringBean
Tried to look at a post and got... I have flushed my DNS cache, deleted my FS.com cookies and all browser cache and still have problems. If it stays this way much longer I will be done with FS.com, the site is becoming unusable. ...I just checked the other forums, and see no duplicate/double posts. Darrell You did not look hard enough, I see them all over the place. WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Farewell, my freind (sp) Never argue with idiots. drobson
I don't know what to tell you Stringbean. I'm not having any problems. I just checked six of the busiest forums, and found no double postings. Since I don't have anything to do with how the forums operate, I can't give you any advice as to what to do, or what the problem is. Maybe Nels or Rick will see this and explain what's happening. As I stated, though, all is well and normal on my machines. Darrell [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
NMLW
I've also noticed something odd. for the past two days when I respond to a thread it seems to take a long time to complete the response. When it does, I am redirected to a blank browser page. I then click on the "Page Back" button and am taken back to my reply page. I back completely out of the thread, then go back to take a look and find that the response has been posted. Larry
jandjfrench
When I've tried to post I've been getting a long wait before I get any indication that anything is happening and then a message asking if I want to leave the page or stay connected. I've been opening up a new browser window and I see that the post has been accepted. I've just been exiting at that point. I see several double posts also. It seems without feedback clicking Submit again causes this.

mrzippy
I just sent a quick email to Nels so he can check out this thread. Fingers crossed! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Jim Robinson
That "connection was reset" page and the forum page partially loaded without the scripts are what I see almost every time I log in, I always blamed it on Verizon but this site is extremely difficult to access sometimes where others aren't. In fairness Orbx, fsfiles, flightsimstore, REX, and OZx are worse though. On the other hand some sites just load without issues all the time, flightaware for example will blaze in at 250 Kb/sec at times when this site won't load at all. StringBean
I have personally never had trouble at any of the sites Jim noted. I did a little experiment with tracert and here are the results... Website Hops REX 10 Avsim 10 FTX 10 FsFiles 13 FlightSim Store 17 AussieX 10 Aerosoft 17 simMarket 19 Flightsim 23 Makes me wonder just where in the world are the flightsim.com servers? StringBean
Tracert down to 15 hops and no longer routing through cogentco, which was probably the cause to begin with.
