Midair refueling

It’s really hard to avoid the temptation of pushing the button to refuel in midair.

I would but the only way to change it is to have one of the Forum Cops do it for you.

They have changed it once already.

I wouldn’t want to over burden them.

In the Bush Trips you almost have to do the magic refueling. They left out any ground services and the Cessna or the Xcub are gong to run out before all the legs get done. I followed instructions from the forum to assign a key to 'refuel and repair' so it was just a keystroke (alt-f) away. I tried to see if the most recent update fixed this problem in the Bush trips. Looks like it did not.

As you well know, in FSX you just pulled up to the pump

and it was an automatic thing from that point to get fuel.

It never occurred to me to look for any Key assignment

so I don’t know if there was one or not

As you well know, in FSX you just pulled up to the pump

and it was an automatic thing from that point to get fuel.

 

You can also do this in MSFS, if the airfield has a pump (or you can request a fuel truck if available)

Before I Assigned a key to refuel I pulled up to a pump and nothing happened.

I tried to move in closer and still nothing.

Since I assigned a refuel function I have yet to pull up to a pump to test that portion of refueling at the pump.

I will look at the keyboard functions for requesting a fuel truck.

Strange, I’ve pulled up next them several times & the option to refuel has popped up. I haven’t assigned any keys for it.
