Roger Wensley
AI planes that taxi for take off, and then have to wait as other planes are landing, stand still in a queue for 5 minutes. They then disappear if there is no further movement. Is it possible to increase this waiting time?
ColR1948
I think someone years ago tried to increase it, another way is to install TrafficToolbox and you can delete ai aircraft in your way, don't worry you are not deleting them from your sim just that scenario. I've used it many times when waiting, just go the the aircraft in front and delete them and/or any on finals then you will be good to go. Col. Roger Wensley
I do not want to delete the ai planes because they are in front of me. I just want to be able to see ALL the ai functioning as it should. I will try to check if it has been in the forum before.
tgibson_new
There is a program called AI Timeout Patcher (aitp10.zip) which can change waiting times. When you run the exe file it actually runs as an installer. Select the desired wait time from the drop down box. It will patch your AI DLL file as needed. Hope this helps, Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com
ColR1948
Thanks Tom, that was the program I was thinking about but obviously forgot the name, I know I used it years ago but still I got the vanishing act at certain airports when they were busy. I hope Roger isn't annoyed with me for suggesting deleting the other ai it was just a quick way to get going, most time the other ai were not flying to where I was going anyway so you wouldn't have seen them.
