Black Tail Problem

I recently downloaded Dave Maltby's BAC 1-11 500, I'm sure in the past I never had this problem but as you see on the left hand tail it shows up black, the other side is fine.

 

I tried using the the right hand side tile flipped over but that didn't work, I tried changing the format of the texture and still no joy.

Anybody else had this and did you cure it please?

I thought I had found the answer, I found one of my old threads and I had the same thing, part of the aircraft was showing black, I changed the texture to DXT1 and it cured it, tried it on this but no luck, so back to the drawing board.

 

AH! It shows OK in the sim but not in FsRepaint, I was using that to view the aircraft plus I wanted to edit the texture, so the problem lies with FsRepaint not the actual texture it seems.
