Psu Problem

Just a quick update I have bought a UPS unit although I am not sure if I am going to keep it or not ,I had an Electrician out yesterday and he changed one of the Plug sockets its a double plug and I had a feeling one was faulty, since then the popping as stopped lo lI am keeping my fingers crossed the Electrician said that there is nothing I am running that would normally be a problem and the rating for my upstairs circuit is 35amps so all things being equal I should be alright now .He also said that my trusty trailing lead should be ok as if there was a problem it just would Just not work and would probably just blow the fuse. I intend to keep the UPS unit for a few days and if the problem does come back I will use it if not i will return it ,but it did rather centre around the faulty plug socket I am grateful for all the input from people that posted and it just shows what a great Forum this is thanks guys.
