Okay, my Spitfire search is over!

I settled on the MK XIV, it looks nice enough, prop doesn't show the black discs that so many do! I am happy with it!

That's the Griffon powered Spit XIV that is recently added to the library?

Personally always preferred a Merlin powered VIII or IX. Powerful, sleek, liked better the rounded wings as opposed to the clipped. And sound as sexy as hell.

The XIV Griffon though reminds me of the late model P-51 Mustangs. Just a brute muscle car like aircraft.

Thanks for commenting Jan! No, if you're referring to the Curtis 40 over at the A2A site, for free. No didn't go there. I have enough of these birds to keep me busy for awhile! I think I might even have a 40 over on my external drive?

Thanks and have a nice evening!

Oh yeah nice shots etc etc etc.

But there's only one question we all want to know.....how fast does it go? :p

Okay, you must be a fan of speed, so here are the realistic cruise numbers I just witnessed with my very old eyes:

47" MP, 2300 RPM, 275 KIAS Not too shabby for an 80 year old bird!
