ColR1948
Thanks jgf, I remember reading that before somewhere but forgot about it, I may tinker with the AP a bit. On another issue I use Active Sky for my weather and I noticed in the settings I can disable winds aloft so I did it, then I noticed on the map of Plan-G the winds are Zero so I'll monitor a flight and see if the rolling minimises. ColR1948
Well, I have disabled the wind in Active Sky and on the map of Plan-G they read Zero, so if that is correct there is no wind. I have monitored a DC10 at 33 thousand feet for over 30 minutes and it hasn't rolled once, not even slightly so if this is correct the wind does play a part in this. The same aircraft in a test I did earlier did roll but I had a 25kt side wind then so there must be something in this.
ColR1948
Been watching this AI now for 2 hours with the wind disabled, not seen it roll yet so it looks like this is working.
ColR1948
Sorry to keep on about this but I did another test last night followed a BAE146 for around an hour, winds disabled and again it never rolled. So thanks to fizion_051 above who first told me/us about this it seems to work.
