zswobbie1
I was wondering: I downloaded Peter Walker's balloons from Simviation, parseval-sigsfield_balloon.zip & WWi French_Caquot_Balloon.zip, as they will be great for my Golden Wings. However, they are CFS2 aircraft, so I put in panels & did the usual ui_manufacturer, ui_type & ui_variation mods to the aircraft.cfg. It flies, but not for long, as it starts decending. Any ideas to keep them afloat? Robin Cape Town, South Africa
BobSeaman
I'm guessing your throttle controls a burner, maybe? Check your .air file and see what its based on. That should give you a clue on what to try. :pilot: Edited November 1, 2020 by BobSeaman

Hi Robin, you may like to try another version of the Parseval balloons (German, British, French markings) done by Gary Aumauger. They have the advantage of already having a panel. You can download them from the Freeflight archive at: http://sim-outhouse.com/freeflight/WW1_CFS2_OrgAircraft2.html Just found them myself, so haven't as yet tested them. It may also be worthwhile checking out the air file from the Wind Riders Hot Air Balloon [FS2002] by Bill Lyons.
