Satellite moving map?

Recommended Posts

Hi, check out https://events.flighttracker.tech/

It’s a moving map which uses google maps, to track your own plane and everyone else who’s using it

I’m not sure you can. These boxes aren’t always on though.

You can view the map on any device with a browser of course. I use it on my iPad while flying on the pc

Hi guys how can I use Google earth satellite or google maps as a moving map?
There is another app, the VFRMap utility which shows your plane on a moving map and works great. You can also select a map location and immediately teleport there at a selected altitude.

Runs in the browser, and looks great.

>>How do you get rid of the box that says upcoming events?

IF you have Firefox and Adblock Plus (on a PC) you can get rid of the box by using the 'block element" feature of Adblock Plus. Not sure there's anything you can do about it on a mobile or iPad.

I’ve also tried VFRmap & it also looks good. Only problem for me though is that it only works on the pc, not a separate device like an iPad (unless you use an additional app like SpaceDesk)
