WARNING.

If you go to Windows Settings/Apps then scroll down to Microsoft Flight Simulator/Advance Options you will see Reset and Repair.

REPAIR does seem to work, however,

 

RESET WILL DELETE ALL 90 GB of your Sim and you will have to re-install.

THANKS Glad I didn't find out the hard way! Is there at least a 2nd chance warning dialog popup?
