Whatever, MSFS2020 is fantastic

Recommended Posts

Dont let the ignorance on issues from people who dont know how to do things fool you. The sim is nearly perfect.

I also was struggling how to configure hat switch or other small doubts, but with a little patience all is being sorted

When you read the thread titles here and the amount of

"how do you do this"

"unable to install"

"something happened, where is xxx"

"missing this and that"

remember: its the user's impatience or something wrong he did

The game is fine, fast and smooth even in high end settings at 1920x1080

My system is below average

i5 3600hz 16ram gtx 1060 3gb and at high end i get 60fps

For higher resolutions obviously its best to have a better system

There are so many features the learning curve takes time,

Specially to understand folder and file structure that will enable better tweaks in future.

Everything needs to be explored and the discovery is part of the fun

Yes, I am running between Ultra and High with no problem at 1920x1200. If i was driving 1440p it might be a different story? I7-9700K, RTX 2070, 32gb 3000, and a fast internet connection. I don't notice any of the stutters some have mentioned? The FDE isn't as good as I expected, at least on the few I have tried.

By FDE incorrect, with the Cessna Longitude, I was climbing at 2600 feet/min, at 456 knots at 20,000 feet. The auto throttle didn't engage. That thrust is way way too high to climb that steeply that fast, particularly at that altitude. Edited by plainsman

funny i only flew the 152 cause i dont like glass cockpits.

And couldnt make the plane pass 80 kts on slight climb of 500 ft pm

Felt its underpowered or better say realisticaly powered

You must do it manually,

assign every axis, throttle and hat switch

using the left column, not the right

on Camera, the LOOK is for each POV

left right up and down to

enable hat and pan

Here is the A320 at 34,000 feet, N1=83% IAS=318, Mach 0.86. It is set to Mach 0.78?? The thrust is too high, it was climbing at 4,000 Ft/min at 285knots at FL240.

I am running 1920x1200 on mixture of ultra and high settings, and my fan speeds are less than with X-Plane. I have fps limited to 30, but it will do 60 if I would turn that up, maybe not in the big cities, I don't usually fly there. I7-9700K RTX2070, 32 gb 3000 memory, good internet connection.

I agree that flying vfr is great, but there are still many issues:

I can'f figure out how to pause a flight, save it, and come back to it later

Can' get back to a settings page without exiting FS and re-starting it

Flying the 172 with the GARMIN panels, can't find Lat and Lon anywhere

Autopilot not functioning properly sometimes not at all

Live weagther seems to be always clear skies?? Don't believe it

That's if for the moment... It has the potential to be excellent ++ but got a way to go

Pause is the... Pause key.

To save a flight in progress Escape then spacebar.

I just passed over Southampton in the microlight and was getting low cloud broken in places which seems right (about 60 miles south of where I'm sitting).

Loads of reports though that AP is foobared both on the GA and tubes so I'm going to stick with handflying until it's fixed.

Set AP on the 172 for heading and altitude, no issue.
