I am anxious to try out MS Flight Simulator 2020 when it is released in mid August.

Granted, few have been able to try the pre release version and the developer have made their recommends for the system requirements.

However, I am hopeful my existing Dell XPS 15 9560 / Bio 1.19.2 / i7 7700 HQ CPU @ 2.8 Ghz (8 CPUs) / 16GB DDR4 / NVDIA GTX 1050 with 4 GB VRAM / Directx12 will meet at least the recommended level. Unfortuately, I am not familar these exact specs relative to that recommended.

MS recommends an Intel i5-8400 CPU, Nvidia GTX 970 graphics, 4GB of VRAM, 16GB of RAM, and a 20Mbps download speed.

Any thoughts. Many thanks

I take it you're using a laptop? You'll want a better one or perhaps a Desktop to run it. You could get by with what you have but you'll probably be left wanting something with more power. At 1080p grab an 5600XT from AMD or a RTX 2060 Super paired with a decent, yet affordable CPU such as a Ryzen 5 or Intel i5.
