Analog and Glass - Too much of the second

Recommended Posts

Absolutely

someone here mentioned Air Safety and accident investigations. Another perfect example.

You recreate a flight, to remember what happened and understand the accident and events.

All about that.

I play flightsim because I find aviation interesting and want to learn more about it.

And because I like to learn and practice certain skills.

There is no nostalgia involved for me.

Went to Bali or Katmandou with your girlfriend last year and made an air tour...

Suddenly you feel atracted to flightsim because of that flight

Most people land at the flightsim with some memorable flight in memory

You went to Bali with my girlfriend?

And she didn't tell me?

:p

deluxe version will have a couple of sport analogue planes, sadly not suitable for imc or long hauls.

Glass cockpit lovers think of this: these small modern planes have just one or two big mfd and thats all.

what is the difference between a cockpit that has a big mfd the size of nearly half your monitor, and FS1 or FS4 from 1990

Its the same look! Looking at a glass mfd is just like an old FS4 sim

I mean I would love to have one of those planes for real, thats for rich guys...wouldnt complain about the glass cockpit because surely its the safest way to flying.

But to simulate it? ...naaaahh had enough of FS4

Kapitan

Anything I say is...not as serious as you think
