If HD space is the issue, you can then move the majority of the Scenery to an external USB flash drive, which is what I did. I have only an 80 gig hard drive. I used a 32 gig USB flash drive and I have my Mesh files, UltraTerrain, FSceneX, and addon Airports located on it (currently 17 gig). The sim runs fine loading it from the flash drive. You should be able to install the remaining sceneries by just copying them over from the relevant CD. You shouldn't have to reinstall the entire sim.
