bayardks
I have had FSX Deluxe and Massive Scenery running together successfully for years. I recently installed FSX Gold on another desktop computer and transferred the Massive Scenery drive. FSX Gold by itself works as designed. But when I add a Massive Scenery area the Massive Scenery has sections that are covered by a semi transparent blue-grey that disappears as the aircraft nears. Anybody have a solution, please? jandjfrench
Hi bay, I'm not familiar with Massive Scenery but I once had a similar problem when I did not have "Land detail textures" selected on the "Scenery " tab of "Settings-Display". bayardks
Thanks for the response, Jim. I tried it with and without that selection - no effect on the problem. Bayard
idahosurge
In your FSX.cfg file under the Graphics tab you can try adding the HIGHMEM fix. [GRAPHICS] HIGHMEMFIX=
bayardks
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately that did not clear up the problem. I'm going to throw in the towel on this problem, uninstall FSX Gold and install FSX Deluxe plus SP1 instead (no SP2 - it gave me big problems in the past).
