How can I use FS2004 outside of Full Screen Mode?

Hello

 

I recently installed my FS2004 onto my Windows 10 machine hoping that I could set up multiple monitors. For some reason, my FS2004 only works in full screen mode and because of it I am unable to use my second screen?

 

Any ideas?

I don't have FS2004 installed anymore, but there should be the windowed option in the settings somewhere. Look there really carefully.

Pressing alt-enter will toggle between full screen and window mode.

 

I have two monitors. Trying to bridge the display between the two looks weird, so I use only one for fs9. I prefer windows mode to full screen. I use the other monitor for skyvector, FSrealwx lite, and whatever extra windows I need from the simulator (such as a radio panel). Works really well for me.

I'm using two monitors but much prefer full screen but it doesn't work so well using 2nd monitor. I hate the border thingy.

Download AutoHotKey (https://www.autohotkey.com) and Maarten Boelens flightsim script pseudo_full_screen.zip (Avsim). Should solve the problem.
