mrzippy
Sort of like the opening splash screen superimposed over everything? Uncheck DX10 preview in your FSX/Settings/Customize/Graphics. Edited September 26, 2019 by mrzippy Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! mrzippy
DX9 gives me terrible framerates usually........ Unless you have Steve's DX10 fixer, then you will continue to have the problem you are seeing. Some aircraft and scenery textures do not play well with the DX10 Preview. im_a_flight_simmer
Are you sure it's a DX10 problem? Cause they eventually load but it takes a while.
jethrom
This problem occurs in DX10 mode when your hardware resources are struggling, blue MS Flightsim splashscreen image can appear in the sky on the ground, on objects and user aircraft and AI. In DX9 Default mode struggling hardware resources will produce large black areas. Can you post your System specs and PC type please.
