I thought it quite charming and redolent of a gentler time that was about to end. I thought I'd have a go at reproduction using ADE and what I could find in the fSX libraries. The aeroplanes are two DH84s and a DH86. I really struggled with introducing statics so I settled for three identical DH84s. The items I scrounged from the web are; DH84 by David Molyneaux Hedges and farm cottage by George Keogh Flag and pole by Lou Frost W11 Home. Intel Corei7-14700K 3.4Ghz 28cpu.
