A story going with the plane? Don't see much bridge buster (or the Kwai River?)

 

It's an aircraft of the 490th BS, which flew bombing missions in the China-Burma-India theater of operations. They developed a hop-bombing technique for attacks on bridges that was so successful that they were referred to as the Burma Bridge Busters.

Great! That reminds me of a straffing method I'd learned of when I had a site about French Air Force in 1940! I think they taught that with CFS1. Just come low before the target and barely before climb and back to descending and fire. Thence just leave low!
