Change panning whilst in flight?

Recommended Posts

Yes you can. You have to go to: 'FSRecorder Menu/Keyboard Controls' and ASSIGN a key press or combination. Then you can switch between manual and automatic panning using that KEY or Key Combo on your keyboard. Some combinations are already 'taken' by FSR so you might need to invent one for your own use. I never used pan switch so can't help.

There is a PDF you can read that is located where you installed FSRecorder. I had to read it 40-11 times and STILL have to go back to it (been using FSR since 2007)!! It's hard to get your head around all the features, I know. But that is why I love FSR. You can do so much that you can't do otherwise. I imagine I 'played' around with FSR some 200 hours (or more) over the years. So stay calm and read it AGAIN to 'get it'. You will.

dang, you guys! I'm always learning something new here... Maybe if I'd gotten FSRecorder working on this last build I would have known about it. I had to use the recording function of JoinFS instead for my videos.

Tilneyg88, if you don't get it working you should be able to use two co-located scenery cameras directly in FSX, one with tracking and one without and just hotkey switch between them as needed; they could also have different zoom levels or be at different positions if desired.
