Flattermann
This is my second work on the rare DC-5. Again it is fictional. Only this elderly bird can start from Cuzco SPZO (Peru). Neither the DC-3 nor the DC-4 are capable to start from an altitude of 10.860 ft; the air is very thin there. wiki: CompañÃa de Aviación Faucett, colloquially known simply as Faucett Perú or Faucett, was a Peruvian airline, closed about 1997. Sorry I had little troubles with the right orange color:rolleyes: happy landings! Christian:pilot: Intel i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHZ, 4 Kerne, 16 GB MSI RX 480; M. ColR1948
Hey Chrisrian another gem, I like it mate. What I do if I am looking for the right colour, google the aircraft/airline and when a decent picture comes up print screen, then copy it in MsPaint then cut and past a small square from the picture with the colour you want. Then save to whatever folder you keep your repaint stuff in and when adding the colour paste that little square somewhere in a blank space in one of the folders then you have it. Col. Flattermann
Thank you, perhaps I should write this in the painter forum. I had the right color but I reduced the transparence for shining the ‚underlayer‘ through (doors, lines etc. ). And than the color looks a bit pale. So I tried to make the contrast stronger. The result wasn‘t so good. Sent from my iPhone with Tapatalk happy landings happy landings! Christian:pilot: Intel i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHZ, 4 Kerne, 16 GB MSI RX 480; M. ColR1948
@Christian, I mean like this: Then you have the colour in the folder to use as a line or fill.
