Sailor512
Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of the first flight of what is to my mind the greatest airplane of all times: Concorde. Although the retirement made sense from an economical and environmental point of view and although I am pretty sure that Concorde would not be flying anymore even if the 2000 crash had not happened, I am very sad never to have gotten the chance to fly with the Queen of the Skies and I firmly hope for a renaissance of supersonic air travel in the years to come! Cheers! Photo: Eduard Marmet, https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:British_Airways_Concorde_G-BOAC_03.jpg
