llivaudais
Since being swept up in the multiplayer world back at the beginning of this decade I've dealt only rarely, if at all, with ATC but I seem to remember having trouble getting in contact with - or listening to - them. Don't we have to have aircraft radios tuned to a nearby frequency that's in use with AI to hear anything? I have this wisp of a memory of going to a airport with traffic (busy might make it easier), looking at the airport frequencies and tuning them in and listening for a while. Traffic will communicate on Tower, Departure and Arrival frequencies and perhaps even Center. Surely this should give the best chance of actually hearing something going on. To see if things are working, try tuning to the ATIS frequency and listen for the ongoing reports; at least you'll know if your radios and sound setup is correct.
