rastavriend
ack Aircraft « on: Today at 06:03:07 AM » Hi guys. I use Aig planes/textures. I installed some of the airlines and most of them are in perfect shape. But some of them turned out black without texture. For example Air Baltic A220, austral 777 and even one of the Austral 777 is in the sim but is invisible.. What can i do about this. PhantomTweak
Do you have the "DX10 Preview" box checked in the settings? If so, try unchecking it and checking them again. Might work... Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! CRJ_simpilot
Black aircraft usually encompass planes like the TR-3B Black Manta, the B-2, F-117A, SR-71, A-12, U2, etc, etc, etc. :D OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed.
PAULCRAIG
It could also be a mismatch between the "ui_variation=" stated in the aircraft.cfg & the ai flightplan or some other mismatch, black aircraft usually means that no textures have been loaded onto the model. marty14
I have found exactly that; Usually there is some mismatch in the aircraft config . . . It may take some detective work to find the problem
PAULCRAIG
Do you have AI Flight Planner (Aifp)? if you do, you can load the flightplans & check the data used for the ai aircraft & find any mismatch, if you don't have it, you can get it from the library here, search for this file name aifp2121.zip. jorgen.s.andersen
Why get an outdated version? When you can get the most recent one from here: http://stuff4fs.com/newpage.asp?Folder=AIFP On the left-hand side of the screen, go to "Latest General Release".
