In trying to address an issue I was having with FS Cabin Crew and drubware, I reinstalled FSX (Disc 1 & 2) and did a repair. Now, when I try to start FSX:

1. I click on the logo (run as administrator)

2. The image comes up as normal when starting FSX.

3. Then after a few seconds it crashes to desktop like nothing happened.

My event view shows this:

Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14

Any suggestions, Thanks.

Try deleting your fsx.cfg and try again. Copy the old one first as backup, you also have FSX in program files(x86) not a good move. Just search to find out why not!
