Kirk
I've just recently learned here that your CPU is going to be more important than your GPU for FSX:SE. Just for comparison, this might help. I was running FSX:SE on an HP Omen Laptop with an i7 7700HQ @2.8 Ghz and a GTX 1050 Ti... not your strongest gaming rig. I was using 4 monitors (3 for the cockpit and 1 for the GPS) and was easily getting 50-60 FPS on low settings at 1920x1080. Don't know if that helps. I'm sure others will give you better info. But my guess would be that you would be OK with the specs you posted. Prepar3d v4: HP Omen Desktop. Intel Core i7-8700K (6 Core, 3.7GHz), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (11GB dedicated GDDR5X), 16GB RAM, 2TB Hard Drive, 1TB SSD, 512GB SSD, Windows 10.
