Winter textures for taxiways and aprons

A question for someone far more technically equipped than I am: Is it at all possible at this late date to modify FS9 so that taxiways and aprons use a snowy winter texture in the same way that runways already do? It would make a huge difference for scenery designers at the periphery of Canadian airports. Aprons on one side of the boundary fence are adjacent to car parks on the other and a winter texture would blend them both into the surrounding urban terrain and avoid that awkward cut off line.
