transfering saved flights

Recommended Posts

Copy and paste?

Are you asking what files to transfer?

They are located in your Documents folder, in a folder named Flight Simulator Files.

You can copy that complete folder to the external drive, then from the external drive to your second computer.

The only concerns are...

1) that you have saved flights on both computers with the same name. You would then either need to decide which version to keep or rename one of them before copying.

Note that if you do rename the .flt file you will also need to rename the .wx file.

2) that you have logbooks started on both computers.

In that case you would need to decide which one to keep, logbook.bin is the file name.

I think there is a tool to merge two logbooks into one in the library.

Never argue with idiots.

They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
