CRJ_simpilot
I was thinking about getting this eye tracker, but it says it supports FSX Steam. I don't know if the boxed version of FSX will work as that is what I run. I asked at their Discord channel and they said it may not work with the boxed version since Steam might have Tobii integrated for its use or something. Anyone use Tobii with the boxed version of FSX? Thanks. https://tobiigaming.com/ OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed. Mark Hurst
I tried it briefly and it was an underwhelming experience. As I recall, you could only use a smallish monitor and you had to sit very close. It sort of worked but it was very unreliable at tracking. Also the the logic behind moving the view in around in FSX was dubious, kind of like those 'auto pan' programs that move the view to look into turns. The icing on the cake was it set my computer on fire, although as it turned out that was probably the fault of the cheap USB3 card I had bought to run it. And after I returned it to Tobii they didn't refund me and I had to be rescued by eBay. YMMV. MarkH
